William Weaver, (successor to
Jacob Weaver) Furnishing Undertaker, 202 N. Eutaw Street. – Among the prominent
representatives in the above business is Mr. Wm. Weaver, who is located at 202
N. Eutaw Street. He has spent the best part of his life at the business, and
five years ago succeeded his father, the former founder of the business. The
store occupied is 18x45 feet in extent, and is one of the best fitted and
equipped in its line. The stock carried is estimated at $2,000, and is composed
of a full line of every article in the furnishing undertaking line, and two
hundred funerals per annum are the general average of Mr. Weaver’s business.
Fourteen experienced and courteous hands are employed. Ice caskets are
constantly kept on hand for the preservation of the bodies, and every article
known to the trade is supplied, and funerals are most efficiently conducted,
every satisfaction being given in their management.
