William Weaver , Furnishing Undertaker,
No 738 North Eutaw Street. – a time-honored and noteworthy Baltimore
undertaking establishment is that of William Weaver (successor to Jacob
Weaver), No 738 North Eutaw Street, near Madison Avenue. This is one of the
oldest and best known establishments devoted to conducting obsequies and interments in the monument city, being
in existence almost half a century., and receiving a large and desirable
patronage. The business was established away back in the forties by Jacob
Weaver (deceased) who conducted the same up to 1878, when it passed into
control of his son and successor, the present proprietor, under whose capable
management it has since been continued with uninterrupted prosperity. The
premises occupied as office and show rooms are compact, ample and neat, and a
first class assortment of everything comprehended in funeral requisites is
always kept on hand, while four efficient assistants are employed. Remains are
taken in charge at any hour and prepared for burial in the most superior and
expeditious manner, and telephone calls (No 682-5) receive prompt response.
Interments are procured in any of the city or suburban cemeteries and funerals
personally directed, at most reasonable rates, liberal and honorable terms
prevailing, while the utmost satisfaction is guaranteed in every instance. Mr.
Weaver, is a native of this city and is a practical and competent undertaker,
of many years experience in his profession, and is thoroughly conversant with
the business in its every phase and feature.
